Barhemsys
I was responsible for designing the user interface and user experience for the launch of ACACIA PHARMA's new antiemetic treatment, Barhemsys. This was a significant task with a very tight deadline. I worked closely with project managers, account managers, and creative directors to ensure the website effectively catered to five distinct healthcare professional (HCP) target audiences.
Barhemsys was the first new drug for postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) in over two decades, so it was crucial that all branded content resonated with healthcare professionals. My main goal was to create a user-friendly website that served as a central information hub, effectively communicating the urgency and importance of this new treatment.
From wireframing to final design, I led the process to ensure the site was intuitive and easy to navigate, with clear calls to action and a logical flow of information. I made sure that the website was accessible and responsive across all devices, and I collaborated with the medical and creative teams to present complex medical information in an engaging and easy-to-understand manner. The success of the Barhemsys launch was a testament to our team's ability to deliver under pressure, and I'm proud to have played a pivotal role in designing a website that met the moment.
